About the Journal

  • The Journal is of a critical nature, thus understanding the judgment based on reflection, questioning, analysis and argumentation regarding aspects that concern discipline and social reality; of a proactive nature, through the dissemination of new knowledge and approaches, such as other perspectives of analysis, regarding different objects and subjects of study; and of a broad nature in its interdisciplinary and temporal approach, as it dialogues with other areas of knowledge for historiographic construction and addresses any period of research.
  • Quirón is a biannual Journal, which is in permanent call for the reception of papers and it establishes exact dates as a maximum term to send the texts that are submitted for evaluation. The Editorial Committee is responsible for previously reviewing the articles that are sent to anonymous peers, in order to certify that they meet the requirements established by the Journal. The opinion issued by the evaluators is notified to the author within a period of less than six months.
  • The observations of the evaluators and the Editorial Committee must be taken into account by the author, who must make the requested adjustments within the period indicated. Quirón reserves the right to make style corrections. Authors can be consulted by the Editorial Committee during the editing process, to resolve any concerns.
